Travel down Maine Street in Quincy on a spring day and you’ll
see why we’ve been recognized as Tree City USA. During our
annual Dogwood Festival, the tulips and Dogwood trees seem to
compete in their own beauty pageant. The city’s renowned
architecture never looks better than with a backdrop of blues
skies and colorful blooms. It’s a great time of year to
spend the weekend enjoying one or our many Architectural Trails.
The Quincy area comes alive in the summer months with trips to
the Farmer’s Market, evenings at free Blues concerts and
double features at the drive-in theater. A can’t miss is
our annual Midsummer Arts Faire in Washington Park, a juried art
show that boasts artists from around the world.
